How it works
Your group gets a real book with its name on the cover. Families buy it. Your group keeps a fixed amount on every copy.
The five steps
- Tell us about your group. Five questions, about fifteen minutes. What you do, what equipment you use, what people wear or carry, where it happens, and what you celebrate. Concrete and physical beats clever.
- We make the book. About two weeks. 48 pages, perfect bound with a printed spine. Coloring pages drawn from your answers, plus word searches, mazes, crosswords, sudoku, color by number and spot the difference, all built from your group's own words.
- Your families and friends order. We hand you the text messages, the emails and the social posts, already written. Two to three weeks is the sweet spot. Shorter and people forget, longer and they stop caring.
- Your dashboard keeps the count. Books, money and supporters add themselves up as the orders come in, you can see who still owes, and one tap builds a share card for the team chat. Look at the dashboard.
- Books arrive and your group gets paid. About three weeks to print and deliver, then a results sheet you can share with everyone who bought one.
Three ways to run it
Convenience costs your group money, and you decide how much. These are the real numbers, not rounded in our favour.
| Model | Your family pays | Your group keeps | Minimum | Work for you |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Team Table You collect the orders and the money. One batch ships to you and you hand the books out | $20.00 | $9.00 | 25 books | Some |
| Doorstep Families order online, each book ships to them, shipping shown at checkout | $19.99 plus shipping |
$9.00 | None | None |
| One Price Families order online, each book ships to them, one flat price | $24.99 | $7.00 | None | None |
Pick Team Table if
Your group sees each other regularly and you can sell at least 25 books. It costs your families the least, and a lower price is what sells more books.
Pick Doorstep if
Your group is scattered, or small, or you simply do not want to handle money and boxes. The same $9.00 a book, none of the work.
Pick One Price if
You want one number that is easy to explain and you accept that it pays your group less. That is a fair trade and it is yours to make.
Team Table and Doorstep pay the same. So why pick one?
Both put $9.00 a book into your group. What changes is the price on the sticker and who does the work.
Shipping one book at a time costs more than shipping a hundred in one box, so a Doorstep family pays shipping on top of $19.99. A Team Table family pays $20.00 flat, because the whole run travels in one carton. The cheaper a book looks, the more of them a group sells, which is why most groups raise more in total on Team Table even though the per book number is identical.
Neither difference comes out of our share. Page Raisers makes close to the same amount on every book in every model, and the gap between the best and the worst for us is about a dollar. What moves between the models is printing and shipping, not our cut.
One Price pays your group $7.00 rather than $9.00. One flat number has to cover shipping to anywhere in the country, including the expensive corners of it. That $2.00 is what the simplicity costs, and you can see exactly what you are trading.
